Built in 1608, this is a Jacobean Country House set in 5 acres of manicured gardens that include a parterre, ha ha and 19 acres of parkland with woodland and a lake. The house’s striking, eclectic interiors mix the old, new and a little bit of the unusual.
The house has many original features to include; fireplaces, a range cooker, Thomas Crapper thunderboxes and a Victorian shower. The house comprises of a double height entrance hall with grand staircase, morning room, dining room, billiards room, library, kitchen, snug, family room, cloakroom, 6 bedrooms (one master bedroom suite and a further en suite bedroom) and a family bathroom. There are also extensive cellars, a servants wing and a servants attic.
