About Majestic Manor – B93

Originally built circa 1850, this is a 19th Century Grade 2* listed manor house available to hire for stills photography, tv or film shoots. Restored to its former glory over the past 8 years by its current owners, it is arranged over 2 floors and set in 2 acres of picturesque gardens the house boasts ornate detailing and grand spaces. The interiors boast original features and grand proportions, as well as modern, stylish furniture and decorations, ensuring a unique and exciting house filming location for interior photography and film shoots.

 

This stunning property boasts 6000 square feet of living space arranged over 2 floors. It comprises of 3 formal reception rooms, a large galleried hallway, large kitchen, cinema room and a downstairs WC. Upstairs there are 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a 1st floor decked terrace overlooking gardens, lake and parkland. There is also a cellar.

 

The outside has 1.5 acres of terraced formal gardens, a children’s woodland play area, a fire pit area, pergola with climbing roses and a gravelled carriage driveway with parking for 20 cars.

 

The owner is an experienced Host, and is happy to accommodate most requests. It is also possible to collaborate with the next door neighbour farmer when doing large scale shoots, there is also an option for an additional 40 acres of farmland, a lake, woodland and barns with hardstanding if needed. Please enquire for further information. The property is also easily accessed, being 1 hour on the train from London Euston or a 2 hour drive from London.

✓ No smoking inside the house. Please use the back garden if you wish to smoke and dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.
✓ Please do not walk around to our neighbours side of the property. Please keep to our gravel carriage driveway, house and garden only.
✓ Please be mindful not to park on verges around our driveway as these are edged with metal which bends with the weight of a vehicle.
✓ All eating and drinking to be restricted to kitchen area.
✓ Please do not use any spray cleaners or place any items on the kitchen work surfaces unless they are covered, they are made of marble and acidic cleaners or lemon juice will cause marks. We will cover these before your arrival unless using kitchen area for shoot
✓ Please ask permission from owners if you would like to move items of furniture. Please lift rather than drag
✓ No decorating allowed without prior consent. This includes drilling or attaching things into walls by any means.
✓ Please ensure that all floors, carpeted areas and upholstered items are suitably protected so as not to cause damage.
✓ Protective covers should be used on high heels, camera stands or any heavy camera equipment to protect all floors and surfaces within the property.
✓ Please do not disconnect the TV and media units. Please ask the owner for help.
✓ Please ensure that before you leave everything is returned to its original position in the house and it is left clean and tidy.
✓ Please report any damages to the location owner as soon as they happen.
✓ Please remove shoes or wear shoe covers when inside the house (we will provide these). Especially on the rugs.
✓ Please be mindful that we have some historic paintwork and art on walls and ceilings which cannot be replaced
✓ Please ensure that the Production Manager is available at the end of the hire to carry out a walk around with the Location Owner in order to jointly approve the put back of the location.
