Meet the Host of Farm View - NG34

There are homes that you walk into and immediately exhale. Walls that don’t compete. Light that lands softly. Rooms that feel curated rather than staged. Farm View NG34 is that kind of home, and behind it is Amy, a Host who spent a decade renovating it with quiet intention before sharing it with the creative world.

Located in the Lincolnshire countryside (postcode NG34), Farm View is listed on Styled Home Studios as a shoot location for photographers, filmmakers and content creators. It’s the sort of space that does most of the work for you.

A Ten-Year Renovation, a Natural Next Step

Amy’s decision to open Farm View as a shoot location wasn’t an impulsive one. After ten years of considered renovation, choosing each finish, each texture, each moment of light, she began having professional photographs taken for her own Instagram account.

“Seeing our home through someone else’s lens made me realise just how beautiful and versatile it could be as a backdrop,” she says. “It suddenly clicked: this wasn’t just our home, it could also be a space where brands could bring their ideas to life.”

For Amy, the prospect of watching brands interpret her home, styling it, telling their own stories within it, felt like a natural extension of her passion for interiors.

What Farm View Feels Like

Step through the door and the atmosphere reaches you before you’ve even put your bag down. It’s calm. It’s warm. It smells faintly of fresh coffee.

Amy describes it as having “that homely, warm, English farmhouse feel”, and the details back that up. An abundance of windows floods each room with soft, even light. Muted tones flow throughout, creating a beautifully cohesive palette that never tips into cold or stark. Layered, rustic textures add depth without noise.

It’s the kind of backdrop that Creators return to, and it’s not hard to see why. As Amy puts it, one room in particular holds everything together:

“As a family, we naturally gravitate towards the kitchen throughout the day. It’s the heart of our home: warm, light, and full of life.”

What Creators Love Most

The feedback from shoots has been consistent. Creators comment on the calm, the cohesion, and the quality of the light. Many note that Farm View needs little to no additional styling — the space is already doing the work.

“They often say it doesn’t need any styling at all as everything looks so beautiful, allowing creativity to flow around them,” says Amy.

There’s also a certain charm that Creators can’t quite plan for: the chickens. Amy’s free-roaming flock has become something of a signature at Farm View, wandering through the kitchen in search of crumbs, occasionally photobombing a shoot, and consistently stealing the show.

“They add a touch of charm, personality and the unexpected,” Amy says, “that makes the whole experience feel even more special.”

Which Brands Suit Farm View Best

Farm View is a natural fit for brands rooted in the slower, more considered side of life. Amy puts it simply: “Our home naturally suits traditional, timeless country interior brands, along with wellbeing brands that focus on calm, comfort, and considered living.”

Think natural homewares. Gardening and outdoor living. Wellness, slow lifestyle and food brands. Anything that speaks to seasonality, simplicity and an authentic, unhurried way of life will feel entirely at home here.

What Makes Amy Such a Great Host

Being a great shoot location isn’t just about beautiful rooms. It’s about how the Host shows up for Creators. Amy has thought carefully about this.

“I never leave things until the morning of a shoot,” she says. “I much prefer to have everything ready the day before, so when I wake up, I know the house is set and waiting for the Creators.”

Alongside that preparation, she’s learned the power of the small things: a warm welcome, a tidy but relaxed environment, a hot cup of coffee, and freshly baked pastries. It’s the kind of hosting that turns a good shoot into a genuinely great day.

A Home to Be Proud Of

What comes through most clearly in talking to Amy is how deeply she cares about Farm View. Not as a business asset, but as a place.

“I still get that same feeling when I pull up on the drive as I did the very first day I saw it,” she says. “It means so much to be able to share it with the loveliest brands. Seeing others enjoy and appreciate it makes it all the more rewarding.”

That feeling translates into every shoot that happens here. Creators don’t just hire a beautiful space. They’re welcomed into a home that someone loves.
