Creatively styled, light filled house featuring unique spaces and a mid-century nod
A light filled townhouse in central Bristol, featuring large windows facing East and West which flood the rooms with natural light. Creatively furnished with original furniture from the 60s and 70s, this gem of a space space is perfect for a unique shoot. The Parlour room has double height ceilings and an incredible full height frosted window that casts beautiful soft light over the space. A combined living and dining space, it's fantastically flexible for all types of product or portrait shoots. With three arched windows, the Bureau space is fitted out as library and office, and gets gorgeous afternoon light. With soft pink walls and a striking forest green feature painted section behind the desk helps to separate the space. The room is furnished with original 60s office desk and room divider, and a set of unique cocktail chairs for lounging. The two bedroom spaces face East and get the most beautiful morning light. One painted light with a headboard mural, the other dark and moody with a super stylish mid-century headboard, these rooms are perfect for capturing portrait shots. The property also has a snug space in the basement, which while it might not get as much natural light, features a bare plaster wall and a woodburning stove that can be lit by request. Perfect for cosy autumn shoots or for creating a twinkling Christmas environment. When you hire the space, you also get access to the incidental spaces and two bathrooms, including a stunning feature chandelier in front of a distressed wall, and the golden stairs.
