Hi, I’m Helen. I’m in my forties and live with my partner, Adrian, and our daughter, Georgie. During lockdown we very nearly made an impulsive move and bought a farm, but when that fell through we ended up buying our current house instead. The purchase wasn’t exactly straightforward, and the renovation… well, we rolled up our sleeves and finished it ourselves. It was chaotic at times, but incredibly rewarding. I’ve always loved wine, chocolate and a good cuppa, and our home reflects that — it’s warm, welcoming and never short of something to nibble or sip. I never thought I liked green or pink, yet somehow our house is full of both, and now I wouldn’t have it any other way. I especially love being a host. I take pride in creating a home where people feel comfortable, looked after and completely at ease.
