Doves Barn is a beautifully restored 17th century barn, originally an apple store, that has been sympathetically converted into a unique and modern home.

The barn welcomes you with a floor to ceiling glass entrance hall that looks straight through to the rolling countryside at the back of the house. A custom made floating staircase leads up to the ensuite master bedroom.  This is connected with a walkway leading to a mezzanine dressing room area.  It also features another three bedrooms, two of which are ensuite, and a bathroom on the lower floor along with a cozy sitting room with a wood burning fireplace.

Throughout the barn many of the original timber walls, beams and unique featres have been fully restored to showcase its beauty and history.

It is linked with a glass corridor that leads to a modern architectural addition that was previously a tractor shed.

This part of the home contains a bright open plan custom kitchen, dining room and living room sectioned with striking painted steel beams that trace the vaulted ceilings. Here the peaceful views are framed with a two storey high hooded window at one end and additional floor to ceiling sliding doors along the side to let in plenty of natural light and allowing you to take in the sweeping countryside. It also features a suspended wood burning stove to make the room cozy no matter the weather. 

A textured hallway leads to a utility room, bathroom and a painted steel staircase that takes you to a large mezzanine room that reveals more steel beamed architecture and natural light with velux windows. 

The entire ground floor of the house features beautiful posihed concrete floors.

The open back garden hosts several patio areas to take in the views. It also has a feature outdoor loo constructed using the original tractor shed materials to pay more homage to this buildings history.

To the front of the house is a large drive allowing for plenty of parking with side access to the back.
