Doves Barn is a beautifully restored 17th century barn, originall an apple store, that has been sympathetically converted into a unique and modern home.
The barn welcomes you with a floor to ceiling glass entrance hall that looks straight through to the rolling countryside at the back of the house. A custom made floating staircase leads up to the ensuite master bedroom. This is connected with a walkway leading to a mezzanine dressing room area. It also features another three bedrooms, two of which are ensuite, and a bathroom on the lower floor along with a cozy sitting room with a wood burning fireplace.
Throughout the barn many of the original timber walls, beams and unique featres have been fully restored to showcase its beauty and history.
It is linked with a glass corridor that leads to a modern architectural addition that was previously a tractor shed.
This part of the home contains a bright open plan custom kitchen, dining room and living room sectioned with striking painted steel beams that trace the vaulted ceilings. It also features a suspended wood burning stove to make the room cozy no matter the weather.
