Warm Minimalism - N21
This elegant 1930s semi-detached house with large modern kitchen extension in North London showcases natural materials in a neutral setting - inspired by warm minimalism and Japandi styles - with high ceilings and large light filled rooms.
On the ground floor, the large open plan kitchen area has zoned areas - kitchen, dining area and seating area with skylights. The walls are painted in a neutral colour (Little Greene Slaked Lime) and the handmade Burbridge sage green shaker kitchen is the heart of the home. The kitchen has a 3.2 metre kitchen island with Butler sink. The kitchen, with large sliding doors and skylights look onto a south facing garden and has great lighting throughout the day. This, combined with the oak herringbone flooring and exposed brick wall provide great backdrops for your shoots and filming.
The shaker style continues into the utility room - just off the kitchen area - with washing machine, dryer and ample storage space.
Off the hallway, there is a ground living room painted in F&B Hardwick White, with a large bay window, beautiful fireplace, oak herringbone flooring and shutters. The room has been beautiful artwork from our travels in the Caribbean, Bali and Thailand.
The large hallway is painted in Little Greene Slaked Lime with black and white floor tiling. The curved staircase leads to the first floor family bathroom, a neutral large, light filled room. There is a cloakroom off the hallway - with black and white flooring and a burst of colour with soft pink tiles.
