About
Apple Blossom House - E7
A light-filled five-bedroom Victorian family home combining original period features with bold, contemporary colour.
The front living room features original coving and a large bay window that floods the space with soft afternoon light. At the rear, a modern kitchen extension opens onto the garden through striking apple-green Crittall doors. The kitchen centres around a large island with natural quartz worktops featuring flowing green and grey veining, creating a beautiful backdrop for food and cooking shoots. The space has previously been used by comedian Laura Smyth for a cooking shoot.
Upstairs, the main bedroom sits at the front of the house with two large windows, alongside a guest bedroom and home office. Two children’s bedrooms are located in the attic, reached via a hallway lined with classic William Morris wallpaper.
The main bathroom features apple-green terrazzo flooring, Moroccan zellige wall tiles and a freestanding bath, while a smaller shower room pairs plaster-toned walls with patterned floor tiles.
Access is via the front door or along the side path leading to the double Crittall doors at the back, making the property suitable for disabled access and wheelchair users. Furniture can be moved to allow flexible setups, and artwork in the living room is hung from picture rails for easy adjustment during shoots.
