This elegant Victorian Semi Detached House with large modern extension is a showcase in interior design style and sophistication. This home is able to offer Victorian rooms thoughtfully restored to highlight original period features including high ceilings, wood floors, cornice and marble fireplaces. Alongside this the shoot location also offers new cleaner spaces which showcase warm minimalism in a neutral palette.

On the raised Ground floor the Double Reception Room is a bright, elegant space flooded with natural light and beautiful wall panelling, cornicing, marble and a curated selection of design classics and antique furniture. This room has dual aspect and is a large space for properties of this type!

The large open plan Kitchen Dinner is a great space for shooting and is bathed in light from the large skylight and full width glass back wall which opens up on to a 8 metre wide terrace space. The kitchen features poured concrete flooring, marble counters, beautiful navy cabinetry, an exposed steel beam and a minimalist blackened steel staircase and just a hint of Brooklyn inspired industrialism. The Lower ground floor also offers two cosier spaces; a Den painted in Railings Navy and with oak herringbone floors, and an adjoining bedroom featuring wall panelling and a luxurious British hotel feel.

The primary suite is decorated with a minimalist Mediterranean feel. Bauwerk Stone paint, light washed oak, Zellige tiles and brass acents, and an impressive 3.5m high raw plaster wall with a skylight above which captures the south facing sun. This space offers a very different yet harmonious feel to the rest of the house.

On the first floor you’ll find the family bathroom, inspired by NYC classic bathrooms and the home’s period features it is monochromatic with a roll top bath, brass hardware and a mosaic tiles floor.
