About Vibrant Family Vibe – SW18

As featured on a few occasions on ‘Houzz’ and Sarah Beeny’s ‘Renovate don’t Relocate’ for the quirky flooring and country-chic style moveable kitchen island and described as ‘cosy, not cluttered’, this house is no stranger to film and photo shoots, having been used for many projects including ITN Productions for Channel 4, a Giff Gaff commercial and once upon a time a Heinz soup commercial.  This meticulously clean home is ideal for small crew shoots.

 

The eclectic, rustic, colourful and modern 1930’s house and family home is in Wandsworth, Southwest London. It has been recently renovated with a contemporary rear extension, loft conversion and an architecturally designed, very spacious open plan kitchen / dining area, spilling out in to our newly landscaped garden/ outdoor living space, where there is built in seating, a fold away, full-size table tennis table, Weber BBQ and fire pit. The living room can be divided from the rest of the ground floor with sliding pocket doors, should there be a need to create a separate area. The kitchen island is fully movable – enabling you to create the space you want – with a boudoir grand piano in one corner, also fully moveable.

 

The kids / teenage bedrooms on the first floor have quirky design features (a secret ‘mousehole’ passage – think the wardrobe in The Lion, The Witch & the Wardrobe -linking the kids bedrooms through their wardrobes) with their own monochrome bathroom and a serene en-suite master bedroom on the top floor.

 

There is the option to have walls redecorated, with prior consent and provided they are returned to their original state, unless agreed otherwise.

 

The property is also mobility impaired accessible however the downstairs loo is not wheelchair accessible, I’m sorry to say.

 

All areas of the house are available to use, by prior arrangement when making the booking.

Tea & Coffee with disposible cups, stirrers, plates and cutlery will be made available to the crew as well as a space in the refrigerator to store anyting you might want to keep fresh and cold.

Any use of kitchen facilites and utensils is welcome, again by prior arrangement when booking.

Parking information

On street parking payable via ParkMobileApp or we can arrange parking permits at ~£9 per vehicle per day. We are very close to Earlsfield and Wandsworth Common overground stations and not too far away from Clapham South, Balham, Tooting Bec & Tooting Broadway underground stations as well as being near to a host of amenities on Garratt Lane.

Southside Shopping Centre and Tooting Broadway are very closeby for larger shops like Primark and Oliver Bonas and other supermarkets. Across Garratt Lane is the hidden oasis thiat is the River Wandle, where you'll be forgiven for thinking you've been transported to the middle of nowhere, surrounded by riverside pathways and an abundance of Flora and Fauna.
