This shoot location is nestled in the heart of Petersfield, a picturesque market town in Hampshire, surrounded by the natural beauty of the South Downs National Park and steeped in charm.
This contemporary 4-bedroom family residence seamlessly blends into its surroundings while also contributing to the local arts and crafts aesthetic.
Upon entering the house, you’re greeted by a grand double-volume foyer with polished concrete floor and walls. A floating staircase adds a touch of elegance and guides you upstairs, giving the space an air of grandeur. Downstairs, the open-plan layout seamlessly connects the dining area, kitchen, and lounge, floor to ceiling glass doors open up to the garden. The kitchen has a central island, large american fridge freezers/wine fridge, a glass ceiling hung log burner divides the kitchen/dining area from the lounge. The ground floor also hosts a separate TV/Family room, a private study, and a discreet guest suite.
Outside there is a sizable patio with covered dining area, outdoor kitchen with grill and pizza oven and a yoga studio/gym that sits at the far end of a sleek, dark tiled swimming pool. Moving back inside and up the floating staircase, all the bedrooms are accessible from the double-volume central area. They are designed with large full-height windows, sliding doors, or Juliet balconies, which flood the spaces with natural light and offer views of the surrounding canopy of trees. On the exterior, the house features a combination of Hampshire Stock Bricks on the lower level, providing a solid base for the lighter timber, zinc, and glass elements on the upper floor. This architectural blend creates an intriguing contrast and a playful patchwork of textures and materials.
There is parking for several vehicles available on the gravel drive and there is a pay & display car park just down the road. The house is easily accessed via the A3 from London.
